
Transcover guarantees customer satisfaction of all Transcover Covering Systems.
What Is Covered?
All systems come with a 12 month parts warranty minimum .The T3 system has a 3 year replacement warranty on the springs and motor, and the T5 system has a 5 year replacement warranty on the springs and motor. This warranty is linked directly to the serial plate supplied with the product. This plate is your warranty and should be fitted to the individual truck at the time of installation.
This warranty is effective if the product is installed according to Transcovers published installation instructions and is used for the systems intended purpose.
All tarps a warranted against defects in workmanship, these warranties vary between 30 days for the T1 sheet, and up to 180 days for the Super Tuff tarp. All other stocked sheets are covered for a period of 90 days.
Transcovers obligation to customer satisfaction under this warranty begins with repair, or at its option, replacement of any part under warranty. Parts must not have not been altered, modified, or subject to misuse or negligence.
What Is Not Covered?
Transcover shall not be liable or responsible for any labour costs or parts purchased through a third party without prior authorization from Transcover. Authorisation will be granted in the form of an order number that must be stated on all invoices relating to the claim. Transcover shall not be liable for damages of any kind or nature to person, product, property, or other consequential damages.
The warranty does not apply to the following:

Damage caused by improper installation, operation or abuse

Damage caused by chemical or environmental exposure

Damage due to lack of the proper circuit breaker

Consequential losses or damage to equipment or materials

Consequential expenses such as labour, delays, vehicle downtime, loss of revenue etc

Items claimed without the serial number.
Deliveries
DELIVERY SHORTAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 48 HOURS
Any shortages noted after this event will need to be re-ordered via our parts department at the receivers expense. Should any goods be no longer required there will be handling fee charged at 5%, returns costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
Repair / Replacement Procedure
Once you have contacted our warranty department you will be asked for the serial number from the warranty plate.
All returns for warranty purposes must be assigned a return authorisation number prior to return of defective product to:

Warranty On Motors
Transcover offer 1, 3, and 5 year warranties depending on the product that is purchased, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that he is aware of the products warranty at the time of purchase.
Should your product be within the purchased warranty term and meet our warranty requirements Transcover will repair or replace your motor and cover delivery costs within the UK.
When Is The Motor Not Covered On Warranty?

Warranty is void if the motor end bell has been opened - No Exception.

Warranty is void if the gearbox has been cracked open - No Exception.

Damage caused by improper use, installation, or abuse.

Damage due to the use of an improper circuit breaker or lack of circuit breaker.

Damage caused by chemical exposure.

Any and all consequential damages (i.e. damage to equipment or materials, delays, downtime, loss of revenue etc.)

The warranty starts from the day the motor is despatched from Transcover.
What Do I Do If My Motor Malfunctions?
First, record the motor serial number and call Transcover 01322

A Transcover representative will be able to use your warranty plate number to
inform you of the warranty available on that particular motor.
If the motor is within the warranty period, a Transcover representative will ask a few questions and try to diagnose the motor’s problem. A motor will be dispatched same day where possible.
You will then have 10 days to return the old motor for analysis.
Should the motor returned not match the one supplied under the warranty plate number, or appear to be damaged rather than defective we regret that we will have to charge for the replacement.
